Arrival Instructions

All volunteers will have a daily temperature check when driving into either of the volunteer parking areas; lot 2 and lot 10. (See the parking map)

Once cleared, you will receive a wristband in the color of the day, to indicate you have been tested and approved. If your temperature is higher than 100.4, you will not be allowed to park/volunteer and instructed to return home. If this happens, notify your committee chair immediately.

Uniform Information

Uniforms are provided by Monterey Peninsula Foundation and are free to volunteers. Even though the uniforms are the same as last year, everyone will receive a new polo shirt & jacket

This year uniforms will be sent to you before the tournament. You will receive your uniform package, including your volunteer credential and parking pass, by September 4th.

Please be sure the address in your volunteer record can receive FedEx deliveries.

All volunteers must wear black pants or long shorts, no jeans or cargo pants and no items with other event logos.

Volunteer Meals

Volunteer HQ, along the 3rd fairway & Palmero Way

You must be in your volunteer uniform, wearing your volunteer credential and had your temperature checked to enter this area

Tuesday – Sunday, 6:00 am – 10:00 am
Breakfast: individually bagged bagel, cream cheese and fruit
Individually served coffee

Tuesday – Sunday, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Lunch: individually boxed sandwich, chips, fruit and cookie
Water, and soda

Some committees pick up meals in bulk to distribute to their volunteers. Please confirm the procedure for your committee with your chairman.

Walking Scorer Check-In
  • Walking Scorer tent is located within the Volunteer Check-In area, along the 3rd fairway (See course map)
  • Arrive at the Walking Scorer tent 1 hour before your tee time. Be sure to allow time for the temperature check process when you park and the short walk from lot 2 to the 3rd fairway
  • Bring your personal earphones
  • Face masks are supplied but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own
  • Scoring equipment is issued at the Walking Scorer tent
  • While on course, be sure to stay along the rope line or cart path to stay clear of the “player bubble”. Do not walk down the fairway with the players.
  • If you need to locate a ball position, walk over, while keeping socially distanced from the players and caddies, verify the location and immediately return to rope line.
  • There is a golf cart shuttle for walking scorers from Volunteer HQ to and from the 10th tee
  • At the end of your round turn your equipment in at the Walking Scorer tent
